Children from both urban and rural areas of Kashmir have never had a chance to know about their wildlife. Inadequate environmental education and lack of resources has aggravated this issue. Our solution to this problem is to produce a book of illustrations about the wildlife of Kashmir. Our focus is to highlight the charismatic and unique wildlife through story telling. This book will be published in Kashmiri, Dogri, and English. This project will not only be educational but will also provide an opportunity for local talent to cultivate their interests.
